Battle Creek's NAACP President Carey Whitfield spent 28 days in Bronson Battle Creek Hospital last fall fighting for his life against COVID-19 disease. Now, the formerly healthy 68-year-old is dealing with the after-effects including a need to be on oxygen 24/7. On Monday, he donated tablets to BBC's Chief Operating Officer Kirk Richardson to help hospitalized patients who can't visit with their families have a way to communicate.
